Provide MVC helpers for web application integration
The controls provided in the SDK provide 'classic' ASP.NET WebForms integration but a lot of companies have switched to ASP.NET MVC. The controls currently provided don't support razor or other view engines.
I'd appreciate either MVC helpers or code samples demonstrating how to embed the flash designer directly into html.
Thank you for this suggestion! We’re definitely open to doing this as we are fans of ASP.NET MVC too. It will be great if you can give some specific examples of the MVC helpers that you would find helpful (heh, heh :) ) I would also like to know what you might expect their output and options to be too. This would help us a great deal to deliver the most useful tool for you.
Thanks for that feedback. I have put something on our roadmap to add MVC and pure HTML support. However, after speaking with our dev team this is not as simple as I expected. Apparently we have a highly optimized embedding script for the viewer & designer that we'll have to refactor a bit internally to provide an easy to use pure HTML or MVC solution. We will do it, but I can't provide a time frame just yet.
However, if this is critical for you please call or email our support team and refer them to this suggestion and if needed we can help walk you through how to do any of these things manually with the current version.
1: The HTML-based viewer we can do with our web services and can give you some internal sample code we have to get you started.
2: This is more involved, but we have a sample that gives a good start if you want to do it yourself, and later we'll provide a first-class pure HTML5 viewer (we have this code in our new mobile portal, we just need to repackage it for desktops too).
3: We can help you get this working now if you contact support directly. It will be some really ugly HTML template but we can help you get through it. Later we'll provide a cleaner way to do this.

Here's a couple of ideas to start with:
- A simple HTML-based report viewer
- A set of helpers that enable rendering the parameters for parameterized reports
- A helper that enables easy embedding of the flash-based editor
