How to assign parameter value to my store procedure at run time
I created a store procedure in SQL which I need to pass three parameters
2> Start date
3> End date
I can pass value to ID through user context but can any one tell me how to pass value for "start date and end date" as user should select any date range.
I am creating a report which will display data for employee who got an incentive money.
Now lets go through an example.
Let say employee with ID=1000 have submit his incentive on daily basis say for $50 for each day
And employee with ID=1001 have it weekly for $100
Now if I generate a report for both employee within 1 month (30 days) then it should say something like that

I would also like to use this feature. Has there been any progress on this since Jan? Obviously I can work around the issue, but it would be great to use it more simply
Currently our support for stored procedures in ActiveReports Server allows you to pass a UserContext value into the stored procedure prompt, but not a prompt value from the user. Internally we’re tracking case #162591 to implement exactly this feature. Personally, I’m very fond of this feature, but our engineering team have estimated that it will require a lot of time to implement, and at the moment our existing customers are asking for other features more than this one. So at this time we can't justify the effort to implement it.
The workaround for this feature is to either query the results directly via the logical data model in ActiveReports Server or you can create a view that returns the same data as the stored procedure. Please note that even when querying directly (i.e. not via a stored procedure) when we send a query to the database we pass the filter prompts directly into the WHERE clause of the query. So even when using a direct query, we do leverage the filtering capabilities of the database. With large datasets this is essential.
Please vote for the feature here, and if this is a key obstacle for you to purchase ActiveReports Server please make sure that you contact us and let us know and we’ll see if there is anything we can do.
