I'm sorry you've been having problems using the documentation, and for the delay in a reply. We are constantly updating and improving our documentation, especially based on customer feedback.
We have been unable to reproduce your issue with pages disappearing, but we want make sure it gets fixed. What browser are you using? Can you provide an example of a topic that is disappearing so we can try again to reproduce the problem? If you were having an issue with the navigation pane appearing incorrectly in Internet Explorer, that has been fixed.
If the XAML Quick Reference topic (under the Getting Started node) that Greg mentioned isn't what you're looking for, could you please let me know what type of topic you need? This will help us to continue to improve the documentation.
